Towards a plastic-free future with the RE.WIND project

Casa di Cura Quisisana is committed to reducing single-use plastic. After minimising its use within the facility, we take a further significant step by joining the RE.WIND project, dedicated to the recovery and reuse of Polyethylene film (LD-PE), used in the handling of linen and garments.

Circular economy in the service of sustainability

The RE.WIND project is part of our ongoing resource optimisation process. With the aim of reducing the environmental impact of plastic materials, polyethylene film, normally considered waste, is collected, processed and reused for new applications, turning into a valuable resource.

Concrete commitment to a plastic-free future

This initiative is a further step towards our ‘plastic free’ commitment, which is not limited to simply reducing plastic, but promotes the recovery and reuse of materials already in circulation. Joining the RE.WIND project concretely demonstrates how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, reducing waste and improving resource efficiency.

Casa di Cura Quisisana continues to work to ensure sustainability in every aspect of its activities, with the aim of protecting the wellbeing of patients and the community.

A concrete action for more sustainable and plastic free healthcare
